Czechoslovakia New York Worlds Fair Freedom Medal, Medallic Art Co, 37mm, Combo
Medal created for the Czech exhibitors at the NY Worlds Fair in 1939, by the Medallic Art Company.  It was given to publicize the takeover of the country by the Nazi invasion, and was given in return for donations to the cause of gaining freedom.  Sharp detailed engraving and a frosted gold finish make this a very attractive medal.
