The dies were cut in 1862. They were sold to Mason to Edwards and eventually made it to the ANS collection, where they currently reside.

The piece pictured was purchased in the March 2020 Stacks sale, lot 108. at the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was graded PCGS-64 BN and realized $456. It had been previously sold by Stacks in January 2011 for $456. They also sold a NGC-63 piece in November 2017 for $780, lot 255.
