Mule JAB M/E-06 YOUNG AMERICA / U.S. ARMORY Copper 28mm 6 struck by Mason This variety consists of the reverse of JAB-3 muled with the obverse of JAB-5. Both dies were cut in 1862. They were sold to Mason, to Edwards, to Cogan, to the Chapmans, and are currently in the ANS collection. The piece pictured was acquired in a Bowers & Merena March 2003 Sale. The piece offered in the August 2016 Presidential Auction is the only example I have seen offered since.
